June's Photographer:
Colby Fravel
Colby Fravel, originally from Tampa, FL, moved to North Georgia 2 years ago and immediately fell in love with the scenery. He started photography as a hobby around June of 2019 when he got his first camera, a Canon EOS R with the Canon RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM lens. This is the current setup he still uses today. He has tried other lens’ but keeps going back to the 24-105. For work, he is a digital design artist. He makes logos, flyers, banners, signs, mock up fashion labels, etc. He is also in the process of working on his own clothing which he is hoping to launch next spring, 2022! That is where his main focus is right now. He is excited to make his own media for the company and believes that shooting people and products is going to be a fun art to learn, when compared to his current landscape style right now. Cloudland Canyon, Hog Pen Gap, Amicalola Falls, and Fort Mountain State Park top his list of favorite Georgia destinations. These top our list as well! He also appreciates exploring anywhere around the Toccoa River and driving the roads around Blue Ridge. He is also a chef and cooks fresh meals daily. There really isn't too much he can't do. His garden and greenhouse help him stick to a fresh diet daily. He has an impressive gallery to check out on Instagram and don't forget to check back next Spring when he launches his clothing line. Good Luck Colby!
